Axis’ East Coast location is an 11,000 sq. ft. facility featuring a large, configurable space that can serve as one lab with up to 15 stations or can be partitioned to create three lab suites. We have a private OR suite for smaller labs, and the amphitheater offers seating with note desks for 95, or up to 120 without.
The Columbia location is equipped throughout with global broadcasting capabilities and real-time IT support from an attached control room. An advanced virtual training, broadcasting, and archival platform gives surgeons and educators the ability to transmit globally, interacting with communities across the globe.
A 1,400 sq. ft. multi-purpose room can be arranged for lunch and learns, classroom style training, catered events, presentations, and more. The conference room provides clients with the option for smaller private meetings or trainings of approximately 15 people.

Audio Visual Broadcasting
Axis offers outstanding audio visual and broadcasting capabilities for in person labs and events, virtual labs and global interactive trainings and communications. Our real-time video broadcasting capabilities provides access to interactive, live streaming or remote learning around the world for up to 500 virtual participants. Clients are invited to create their own video library for storage and education purposes.

Our organization held our Quarterly Conference in the Axis facility in Columbia, Maryland. Our conference was in the multi-purpose room and we had about 60 people. Our initial meeting prior to the event was with Jill Goodwin & Nick Moran and I walked away feeling confident it would be a good venue choice. Rick Clark was the on-site point of contact and his customer service far exceeded my expectations. The a/v is state of the art, the room temperature was perfect, the sound projection in the room was clear - - I just could not have been happier. I highly recommend this facility as a venue for your meeting and I look forward to the next time we can be there!

Not sure where to begin with Axis Research & Technology Lab. I’ve been in the medical industry for over 11 years and have been to more labs than I can count. Attending these locations have historically required flying to the southeast, northeast, or even west coast. Maybe I’m bias because this is a lab located close to home but I can tell you that you won’t find a better location. From a travel standpoint this lab couldn’t be more perfectly placed.
